The stem of the Falcon Goblet is that of a Gyr falcon. As with the Mallard and Gamecock goblets, the stem was first rendered as a carving in wood, then lost-wax cast. The top was then hand-spun, and the inside plated in 24k gold. About 7.25" tall, entirely of sterling silver.
