The Lastra Aqua Oval Platter is a magnificent and generously sized platter, handmade of fine Italian stoneware bowl and glazed in handsome aqua blue. Inspired by the overlapping wooden molds used in Italy to create Parmesan and other artisan cheeses, the Lastra Aqua Oval Platter has a slightly overlapping edge and finished with a dusting of brown, which represents the ash that was used to preserve these artisan cheeses. This large serving platter is ready to serve your main meats and dishes - from roast chicken to the turkey at your next family gathering.
