VIETRI - Lastra is a truly beautiful rustic, Italian stoneware collection of dinnerware, plates and bowls, and serveware in gray and white. Featured in Martha Stewart Weddings (Wedding 2012 Issue), Lastra was VIETRI's first Italian stoneware dinnerware collection. With old-world character and a contemporary, simple, chic design, VIETRI's Lastra is quickly becoming one of our bride's favorites. We simply love the unique pottery look. Available in two colors: White and Gray. All Lastra products are microwave, oven, freezer, and dishwasher safe.

What makes VIETRI's Lastra so extraordinary is its chic shapes and rustic pottery look. The entire VIETRI Lastra collection is handformed in Tuscany by artisans, then twice fired at stoneware temperatures, giving it the strength of commercial dinnerware. Perfect to serve, bake, microwave, or store in the fridge, we at Sallie Home love the wonderful qualities of VIETRI's Lastra in both White and Gray. This collection is microwave, oven, dishwasher, and freezer safe. It's also highly resistant to chipping, making it even more amazing.

VIETRI Lastra's lovely design comes from Italy's rich culinary history. For centuries, an overlapping wooden mold was used to form Parmesan and other cheeses throughout Italy. Roughly translated, Lastra means "strap" in Italian. For this reason, you'll see a light dusting of brown at the edges of products in the Lastra collection, which signify the ash that was used to preserve these cheeses. The overlap of the strap adds an extra dimension to the Lastra Italian stoneware dinnerware collection.
