The Tobacco Leaf Candy Leaf Dish is great for serving small nuts or candies, or just displaying around your home. This extravagant design was originally made in China, probably for export to the Portuguese and Brazilian markets. This was the most highly prized of all the 18th century dinner patterns. It's easy to see why, with its twenty-seven colors and 22K gold, based on an original displayed in the Metropolitan Museam of Art. Features a small phoenix bird perched on the leaves of the flowering Nicotiana (Tobacco) plant. Features a pretty gold handle that adds to its charm. One of Mottahedeh's most popular and longest running patterns.
