Inspired by the overlapping wooden mold that was used for centuries to form Parmesan and other Italian cheeses, the Lastra Collection was hand formed in Italy of Italian stoneware.  A dusting of brown at the edges of this Lastra dinner plate represents the the ash that was used to preserve these artisan cheeses and highlights each unique silhouette.
